Scholar groups
Vaux le Vicomte's visit will give to the students an overall view of the seventheen century's history through :
- Louis XIV's century
- Vaux le Vicomte, the forerunner of Versailles
- The french society of the seventheen century with important artists such as Molière or La Fontaine.
- Nicolas Fouquet, man of finances and patron of arts.
- The great team who built Vaux and then Versailles: Le Vau, Le Brun and Le Nôtre.
Schedules and Scholar prices
Discover the Secrets of the Château Vaux le Vicomte welcomes scholar groups every days from march 27th to November 7th, from Monday to friday, from 10am- 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on wednesdays except in july and august.
In order to get the preferred prics below, the group should visit the chateau from 10am to 1pm. The afternoon will be spent in the gardens and carriage museum.
A mystery game booklet in english, will be given to all young visitors at the entrance of the chateau: learn and have fun!
For 2010, exceptional opening for scholar groups on march 16th,18th,19th, 23rd, 25th, and 26th.Then normal opening from march 27th until november 7th. Closed on wednesdays except in july and august.
