Scholar groups

Vaux le Vicomte’s visit will give to the students an overall view of the seventheen century’s history through :

• Louis XIV‘s century
• Vaux le Vicomte, the forerunner of Versailles
• The french society of the seventheen century with important artists such as Molière or La Fontaine.
• Nicolas Fouquet, man of finances and patron of arts.
• The great team who built Vaux and then Versailles: Le Vau, Le Brun and Le Nôtre.

Schedules and Scholar prices

Vaux le Vicomte welcomes scholar groups every days from march 15th to November 9th, from Monday to friday, from 10am- 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
In order to get the preferred prics below, the group should visit the chateau from 10am to 1pm. The afternoon will be spent in the gardens and carriage museum.

A mystery game booklet in english, will be given to all young visitors at the entrance of the chateau: learn and have fun!
